Welcome to the new Enlightened Life Newsletter! I had a busy beginning to summer this year with the Living Light retreat that finished on the solstice, and the launch of my new social media network. July is also beginning with lots of new activities, including a four-part Spiritual Empowerment series that you can join via weekly livecast webinars, or attend in person in Austin, TX. See the article below for all the details.
There were many stories of healing and improved spiritual connections from the retreat group members, and requests from many of you to participate in a Living Light group in the future. I promise I will offer you this opportunity again soon. In the meantime, I am working on preparing the recordings of the weekly teleseminars from the June program for you to download and use along with the book and CD to accelerate your success with Living Light.
I have been blessed to meet Chef Alicia Ojeda and raw vegan rock star, Cheryl Hill, hosts of EZ Raw Food 101 TV. Chef Alicia is a classically trained chef specializing in gourmet raw vegan cuisine. Cheryl is a multi-talented, musically gifted devotee of healthy, green living. The evening I was at their home for my interview on their weekly Internet broadcast, I was served a sublime salad created in minutes by Alicia.
Fortunately, many of her diverse and delightful salad recipes will soon be available to all of us with the upcoming release of her new E-Book, Salads & Dressings: Going Beyond the Basic Salad. Yum! I am planning to have the book available for purchase on my blog product page as soon as it is released. In the meantime, you can order an advance copy at her website - EZRawFood101.
Here in the U.S., many areas have been experiencing a heat wave, including Austin. With temperatures soaring outside, refreshing raw food dishes are the perfect way to stay cool and energized. A few of my favorite summer recipes are included in this newsletter to help you get inspired to eat light and healthy foods, and beat the heat!
Please visit this blog from time to time. This is my new home base on the web. I add informative and inspiring articles once or twice a week, and sometimes an entertaining video or two. As the site evolves we will continue to add features that will help you connect with all the best resources for natural living, healing, spiritual awakening and harmonious life on earth.
Be alert for changing energies throughout the rest of the summer. The predominant vibration of the planet is definitely shifting toward the new way. Do your part to stay positive and on track, envisioning peace, harmony and enlightened life on earth. Get out and walk in nature to ground your inspiration into manifestation. Don’t forget to support your local farmers’ markets. Your body and the farmer will thank you for it. Take time to meditate daily on who you really are. How can you offer yourself more freely to the energy of light? Become a blessing to all you meet!

Spiritual Empowerment Series July 7-30, 2009

Chavah Aima presents four intensive training sessions that will awaken your inherent powers and put you in command of your life. The sessions are available to attend in person in Austin, Texas and also online as a livecast webinar series. All lectures are from 7-9 PM, U.S. Central Time.
The series begins on July 9, 2009 with a workshop on “Conscious Creation”. In this session, you will learn how all things in life are brought into being by powerful forces that operate within you.
On July 17 you will learn to “Awaken the Limitless Self” in order to let go of fear, anxiety and resistance, and improve every aspect of your life.
The July 23 session will highlight “Your Invisible Powers” and teach you how to awaken your super-and-natural abilities in clairvoyance, mind-reading, mental influence, eternal youthfulness, and more.
In the final workshop on July 30, you will be empowered in “Body-Mind Magnetism and the Law of Attraction”, which will enable you to create the life you want and attain whatever your highest desires.
Chavah’s EZ Raw Food 101 TV Interview on Food and Spirituality

If you missed my interview last week on EZ Raw Food 101 TV, you can watch it at your leisure from the channel’s home page, or access it via the Clips link into the show’s archives. I talked in depth about a variety of enlightenment practices, and how one may spiritualize the physical body with right thought, emotion, energy and foods.
We also delved into the mechanisms underlying the transformational outcomes that people receive from Living Light, and how the program’s alchemical practices subtly shift the lower bodies into greater receptivity to the light of the soul. Many viewers had questions ranging from the nature of this purified consciousness to prophecies for 2012 and beyond. I had a delightful time, and I’m sure you will enjoy the information, enthusiasm and inspiration that was shared by all.
Raw Food Recipes

Summer Chili
Makes 2 to 4 servings
2 medium tomatoes
½ avocado
¼ cup sundried tomatoes, soaked overnighnt
1 clove garlic
1/4 cup cilantro
1 tsp. (or more) chili powder
Sea or mineral salt to taste
½ red bell pepper, minced
½ green bell pepper, minced
¼ cup chopped green onion
½ avocado, diced
½ tomato, diced
Chopped cilantro to taste
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 tbsp. lime juice
Blend 2 tomatoes, 1/2 avocado, sundried tomatoes, garlic and 1/4 cup cilantro in food processor or blender until smooth. Place all veggies and chopped cilantro in a large bowl. Pour pureed chili sauce onto veggies. Add olive oil and lime juice. Mix well. Store in refrigerator for an hour or more, or serve immediately.
Peaches & Cream Smoothie
Makes 1 large or 2 small servings
1 fresh peach
1 banana
1 cup almond milk
1 tbsp. ground flax or chia seeds
1 tbsp. agave
2 tsp. vanilla
Place all ingredients in blender and process on high speed until smooth and creamy.
Watermelon Juice
Peel and cut fresh, organic watermelon to fit into juicer. Process through juicer, pour and enjoy. Remember to enjoy melons and melon juice alone for best digestion.
Sprout Salad
Chop sunflower greens and place in a bowl. Add mixed micro-greens of choice, finely chopped bell peppers, green onions, black olives and fresh basil. Add 2 tbsp. of Braggs Healthy Vinaigrette Dressing, or make your own from olive oil, raw apple cider vinegar, garlic, and herbs. Toss well and serve.
